Privacy policy
What the EA Sigma client website stores about you, why we need it, and how you can have it changed or removed.
Who we are
The EA Sigma client website is run by Fountain of Craft. When this policy says “we”, it means Fountain of Craft.
What we store
- Your login: your email address, your name if you give it, and your password. The password is stored only as a secure one-way hash, so nobody can read it, including us.
- Your licenses: which EA Sigma licenses you added to your login, and the MetaTrader 5 account numbers on them.
- What EA Sigma reports: for each account on your license, the information the EA already sends to our license server: real or demo, broker, chart timeframe, balance when the EA started, check-in times and the account holder name. Account holder names are only visible to our admin team, to help spot shared licenses.
- Account changes: a history of every account added, replaced or removed on your licenses.
- Profile photo and review: only if you add them. Photos are resized on our server and any hidden information in the file, such as the location where it was taken, is removed.
- Sign-in records: for each active login session, the browser it came from and its IP address. We also use IP addresses briefly to block repeated failed sign-ups and logins.
- Visit counts: which pages are viewed, which buttons are pressed and which website sent the visit. Visitors are counted with a code that changes every day and can't be turned back into an IP address or browser; no cookie is used.
Why we use it
- To let you sign in and see and manage your licenses and accounts.
- To email you when you link your first license, before a license expires (3 days and 1 day before), after it expires (1 day and 7 days after) and when you ask to reset your password.
- To see how many people visit the website and where they come from.
- To keep licenses from being shared or taken over, and to keep the website secure.
- To show your review on the website, if you write one and we approve it.
We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Reviews
An approved review is public. It shows your star rating, your text, the name you chose (for example “Sara A.”) and your profile photo or initials. You can edit your review at any time; edited reviews are checked again before they show. Ask us and we remove it.
If you send us a review in another way, for example on WhatsApp, we only add it to the website when you have told us we may, using the name you agree to.
Who else is involved
- Our hosting provider runs the servers the website and its database are on.
- Our email provider delivers the reminder and password emails.
- TradingView provides the live market charts, calendar and news on the home page. These load from TradingView, and its own privacy policy applies to them.
- YouTube plays the video guides in your client area, in its privacy-enhanced mode. A video only loads when you press play.
Cookies
We use one cookie, which keeps you logged in. It is needed for the client area to work and is never used for tracking. The TradingView and YouTube parts of the site may set their own cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your login and history for as long as you use the client area. Login sessions end after 30 days without use. If you ask us to close your login, we delete your details, photo and review. We may keep account change records linked to a license for as long as that license exists, because they protect the license holder.
Your choices
You can see your details in your client area, change your password, and add, change or remove your photo and review yourself. To get a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted, message us on WhatsApp from the number linked to your license.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, the new version appears on this page. If a change is important, we also tell you by email.
